BPW Hernando County

BPW Hernando was founded in 1978, and one of the first in Florida. Today, BPW Hernando has over 30 active members with more joining monthly. We are proud to say that 80% of our members have retained their membership on a yearly basis.

BPW Members believe in acting together to promote the advancement of working women through career development, networking, educational scholarships and legislation. We are making things happen in our careers, in our communities and in our personal lives. We also gather monthly to share ideas, meet new people and find ways to help women.

We are a local affiliate of BPW Foundation and BPW Florida who come together to support our members and the community as a whole. Our goal is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.

Locally, we meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the conveniently located Atria Evergreen Woods Senior Living Facility, 7030 Evergreen Woods Trail. Meetings start at 5:30 with an informal networking reception. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm with an introduction and welcome by the president. The monthly speaker begins at 6:45 and our program is adjourned by 7:45 pm.
