Welcome to BPW Hernando. We are a local affiliate of BPW Florida who come together to support our members and the community as a whole. Our goal is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.
BPW Members believe in acting together to promote the advancement of working women through career development, networking, educational scholarships and legislation. We are making things happen in our careers, in our communities and in our personal lives. We also gather monthly to share ideas, meet new people and find ways to empower women.
BPW Hernando members are owners and professionals from small companies to large corporations. From government, non-profits, and even a few retirees. Our group represents and serves women of all ages. We meet monthly at the The Bistro in Brooksville.
Legislative Mission: Ensure pay equity, equal educational and economic opportunities at all stages of life, support pension and social security reform; and promote affordable quality dependent care to help ensure economic self-sufficiency for women.
